Accommodations
This is an unconventional layout without a forward v-berth. Instead, the forepeak holds a very roomy and well laid out head with sink and hanging locker and generous storage. On the floor is a molded sump with teak grate for showering. Moving aft through the privacy door there is a single settee to port and a double pullout berth to starboard with generous open and closed shelves behind for storage. There is a practical built-in centerline table with folding leaves and a bottle rack. Above is a nice headliner with grab rails.
Amidships are two open teak bulkheads with sliding panels that may be raised for privacy. Aft of the bulkheads, the galley is to starboard and the icebox and nav station are to port. The L-shaped galley has a two burner alcohol stove recessed with cutting board. In the
“L” and facing aft is the stainless steel sink with pressurized water. A drop-panel over the head of the starboard quarter berth provides additional counter space. There is a large dry locker behind the stove, and additional stowage is outboard and under the sink.
Opposite to port is the ample ice-box and aft of that is the nav station. On either side of the companionway is a quarterberth. The engine can be reached via a panel in the starboard quarterberth area, or via a hatch in the floor of the cockpit well. Access to the engine is extraordinary for a boat of this size. Teak and holly flooring throughout.
